Lakeside Cottage
Located in Port Sandfield on Lake Joseph and within minutes of the Lake Joseph Club and Port Carling, this European flavoured contemporary water's edge 4 seasons hideaway on south Lake Joe is in one of the most central and sought after locations across the Muskoka Lakes is the perfect big lake experience.
AREA | Located right off Peninsula Road on Lake Joseph directly across from Clublink's Lake Joe Golf Club. Prime central Muskoka location with close proximity to many Muskoka attractions, by car or boat! Two minute drive to Port Sandfield and its bakery, butcher, deli ,grocery store and marina! 2 minutes to the Lake Joseph Club and 10 minutes to Port Carling, and less than 5 minutes to the JW Marriott!
PROPERTY | Lakeside was designed to be as close to the water as you can get - with floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden elements and earthy tones throughout the cottage - with glass railings, you feel truly immersed in the landscape. The driveway is off Peninsula Road, with parking for 3 cars and gate access to a set of granite stairs, which lead you down to the main entrance.
From the main cottage, small granite stone stairs cascade down to the boathouse. A stone & clover fire-pit area with 4 Muskoka chairs and invite you to gather round as the sun begins to set. All exterior pathways and stair sets are illuminated with lights on either side - creating for a romantic ambience.
The 2 slip boathouse offers indoor or outdoor dining for 8 as well as 4 modern loungers. 4 additional Muskoka chairs are also available! Bask in the all day sun here while soaking in Lake Joseph views.
MAIN COTTAGE | MAIN LEVEL | KITCHEN | Exemplary Leicht custom kitchen with state-of-the-art Bosch and fihaba appliances, an island with seating for 4, a coffee station, pantry, wine fridge and a dishwasher. Sliding 8ft glass doors open up to an outdoor dining area for 6, 2 chairs and a BBQ.
